The project Expo 2020 site in Dubai with its theme of ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’, projects both the city and the country on the international stage. After Expo 2020, the site will provide a legacy for the UAE and will form part of the wider Dubai World Central area.
The event attracts millions of visitors to explore pavilions, exhibits and cultural events staged by hundreds of participants, including nations, international organizations and businesses which last for six months. Expo 2020 Dubai attracts 25 million visitors, between 20 October, 2020 and 10 April, 2021,70% of whom will be from overseas- the largest proportion of international visitors in the 168-year history of world expos. This will be the first Expo in which the majority of visitors come from beyond a nation’s borders. Expo 2020 will feature three thematic pavilions inspired by its key subthemes of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability and 190 country pavilions.
